2014 : FEELINGS FROM THE SUBCONSCIOUS OF MUSLIM WOMEN

This set of artworks reflects the feelings from imagination, spirit, and subconscious through shapes and symbols shortened from Muslim women. It was inspired by the Islamic teaching that women are analogous to the pillar of the nation, if the women are unprincipled, the nation is derogatory; on the other hand, if the women are pious, the nation is decent. Sawing and embroidering are employed along with the special techniques and materials signifying the meaning of being the pious Muslim women. The art items are presented in the format of the two dimensional art and installation art in order to make them more interesting.
